Update: 2024-10-09     Source: Yangcheng Evening News

Recently, it was reported that Adora Cruises has announced that its ship, the Adora Mediterranean, will launch international cruise routes departing from Nansha, Guangzhou, starting on December 18th, 2024. These routes will offer options for 2-night/3-day to 5-night/6-day roundtrip itinerary.

The Adora Mediterranean, known as the "Art Ship" originating from the Mediterranean, measures 292 meters in length and has a total tonnage of 86,000. It features 1,057 luxurious cabins and suites, accommodating up to 2,680 passengers. Its design is inspired by Mediterranean civilization, with oil paintings, sculptures, and relief decorations throughout, creating an authentic Mediterranean atmosphere for guests.

It is understood that by establishing a presence in the South China market, Adora Cruises is not only attracted by Guangzhou's advantageous geographical location and large potential customer base but also aims to leverage the unique appeal of cruise tourism to invigorate the regional tourism economy. This initiative seeks to inject new vitality into the cultural and tourism industry in Guangdong and the broader South China region.

It is reported that the Adora Mediterranean will set sail from Nansha International Cruise Home Port in Guangzhou, covering multiple popular destinations including Hong Kong, Japan, and Vietnam. Notably, during the autumn and winter cruise season, a 13-day Maritime Silk Road itinerary will be launched, covering five countries in Southeast Asia. This will allow travelers to enjoy a luxurious cruise experience while deeply exploring the unique cultures of places such as Manila, Sabah, Brunei, Singapore, and Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition, Adora Cruises has specifically integrated Lingnan culture and elements of the Maritime Silk Road to cater to the South China market, aiming to provide tourists with a refreshing maritime cultural and tourism experience. Furthermore, Adora Cruises is actively collaborating with partners such as the Nansha International Cruise Home Port to promote the development of a comprehensive ecosystem for the cruise industry. This collaboration seeks to explore new pathways for the integration of cruise economics with cultural, commercial, and travel development.
