This year's National Day holiday saw rural tourism in Guangzhou become the top choice for many visitors seeking relaxation and vacation experiences. Numerous rural scenic spots across Guangzhou launched a wide array of vibrant themed activities, offering a fully immersive countryside travel experience with attractions such as autumn flower viewing, garden tours, traditional Chinese culture exhibitions, and unique nighttime activities.
At Shimen National Forest Park, the Tianchi Flower Sea created a breathtaking spectacle, while the sunflower fields at the Wuzhishan scenic spot in Liuxihe National Forest Park gleamed in golden splendor. Maofeng Mountain Forest Park entered its peak season for viewing red leaves, drawing countless visitors for photographs. In the Lotus Hill Tourist Resort, tourists marveled at the blooming lotuses and the elegant sight of egrets, enjoying the serene beauty of nature.
Yuyin Mountain Villa featured an exquisite orchid exhibition, accompanied by a diverse range of cultural activities such as martial arts flash mobs, traditional performances, immersive garden tours, orchid lectures, and the experience of the traditional art of cloisonné enamel. The Lingnan Impression Park hosted immersive theatrical performances, providing visitors with an emotional and engaging nighttime travel experience.
During the National Day holiday, many families with children opted for self-driving trips to District of Conghua or Zengcheng to "return to nature". These destinations offered opportunities to witness the rippling fields of rice, trace cool mountain streams, pick fresh fruits, and relax in soothing hot springs, embarking on a tour through Nankun Mountain and Luofu Mountain. At the Erlongshan Xingluoji Grand Forest Scenic Area, visitors engaged in family-friendly activities such as olive-picking, black olive carving, exploring the pink Flaming Mountain, and visiting the Thousand Rabbit Park.
To enrich the cultural and tourism experiences for the public, guangzhou's rural scenic spots also launched various discount promotions during the National Day holiday. For example, baijiang Lake Forest Park, Nansha Tianhou Palace, Nansha Wetland Park, Lotus Hill Tourist Resort, and Yuyin Mountain Villa offered 20% discounts on tickets. Maofeng Mountain Forest Park provided a "buy one, Get one free" ticket promotion, and the Skov River Wonderland introduced limited-time special discount tickets. Additionally, visitors dressed in traditional Hanfu or qipao were granted free entry to Liuxihe Lake at Liuxihe National Forest Park.
