White and pink bauhinia flowers blossom at the Haizhu Wetland in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province.
In parks and along streets and roads in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, varieties of flowering tabebuia chrysantha, bauhinia variegate, sakura, kapok and other trees recently entered full bloom as temperatures rise for spring.
Along a 3.2-kilometer road inside the Haizhu Wetland, a national-level wetland park in the city's Haizhu district, bauhinia trees are blooming right on schedule, forming a white and pink flower sea.
The wetland park is one of the most charming sights in the city. It recently launched a flower-themed festival, inviting visitors to witness blossoming sakura and bauhinia flowers. The festival will continue until late March.
