Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is named as the world's best airport in overall customer satisfaction, according to the latest ASQ survey released by Airport Council International (ACI).

With impeccable service quality, the airport successfully stood out among 294 airports participating in the rating. This is the second consecutive year that it has won such an honor.
Besides, Baiyun International Airport and Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport are both listed under the best airports by size and region with over 40 million passengers per year among other Asia Pacific airports.
In terms of customer recognition, Guangzhou Baiyun Airport and Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport are also listed among other airports.

Skytrax, the British consultancy on aviation rankings, also ranked Biayun Airport in the first place in terms of 35 million to 45 million passenger throughput.

Over the past year, Baiyun Airport has been endeavoring to provide better contact-less services and optimize entry procedures.

Launched in 2017, the Airport Pass is an online comprehensive passenger service platform. It can meet all kinds of personalized service demands, such as, tickets booking, flights information, parking guide, online check-in, baggage claim, weather, hotel, medical care and other entertainment facilities.
So far, it has helped more than 5 million members and 8 million other users during their travel in 2021.
In addition, in line with pandemic prevention and control requirements, all the inbound international flights have been relocated to T2 to ensure passenger safety.

Currently, the airport is the transfer hub for China Southern Airlines, Hainan Airlines and Shenzhen Airlines. Passengers only need to do one payment and security check to get onboard their second flights.

Moreover, it took the lead in formulating the basic rules of cordial service in 2021, with the aim to creating different user experiences that can exceed the passengers' expectations.
Guangzhou Museum of Art opened a branch in the ground floor concourse of T1 on May 18th, 2021. Covering an area of 700 square meters, the four exhibition halls welcome passengers to gain a glimpse of the Cantonese culture all day long. And together with Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, a musical terminal building will be constructed in T2.
